Cthulu is a fictional cosmic god that was created by the great writer H.P.Lovecraft. We were first introduced to Cthulu in 1928, when Lovecraft published his short story called 'The Call of Cthulu', in the American magazine 'Weird Tales'.
Lovecraft depicts Cthulu as a gigantic entity that is worshipped by cultists and is described as a Octopus/dragon/human hybrid.
Cthulu has most recently been referenced in 'Sabrina' as well as other pop culture
