Cthulhu is a fictional cosmic entity created by H.P Lovecraft . It was introduced in his short story called the Call of Cthulu, published in 1928.  Considered a The Great Old one within the Lovecraftian universe, this creature has since been featured in numerous pop culture references. H.P Lovecraft depicts it as a gigantic entity who is worshipped by cultists, in the shape of a green Octopus, Dragon humanoid creature. 

What is not mentioned is this little cutie had to start off as an ill mannered baby demanding your attention.
